What is an Alibly review?

An Alibly review is an independent, candidate-authorised look at a candidate's professional network. It surfaces structured facts about connection history at each claimed employer, the composition of their network, and potential people for reference outreach. It sits alongside your CV, interview, and reference process; it does not replace them.

How long does a review take?

After the candidate authorises access to their own portability data, the review typically completes within 2 to 5 minutes. You will receive an email when the report is ready.

What happens if the candidate declines?

Accepted Answer

If a candidate declines consent, the review is marked as declined and the review credit is refunded to your workspace. You can delete the review or start a new one.

What if a review fails?

Reviews can occasionally fail due to temporary issues with data availability. You can retry a failed review using the Retry button on the review detail page. If the issue persists, contact us at support@alibly.eu.

How do I upgrade or change my plan?

Visit your Account page to view your current plan and billing details. To change plans, use the billing portal or contact us for assistance.

How do I add team members?

On the Account page, scroll to the Team section. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and click Send invite. They will receive an email to join your workspace.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription through the billing portal on your Account page. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

How do I request data deletion?

Candidates and authorised users can request deletion of their data by emailing support@alibly.eu. We process deletion requests within 5 business days in accordance with GDPR.

What data does Alibly access?

Accepted Answer

Alibly accesses the candidate's professional connections and work history through the candidate's own EU data-portability rights. We do not access messages, posts, likes, or other activity data. Nothing is accessed without explicit candidate consent.

Is the data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We are GDPR compliant and process data within the EU. Connection data is used only for the specific review and is not stored in reports. Only aggregate classifications and the suggested-reference entries you have generated are retained.

I am a candidate and received an Alibly review request. What does this mean?

A company considering you for a role is using Alibly as an additional step in its hiring process. When you click the consent link, you will be asked to authorise Alibly to access the connection and work-history section of your own portability data. This is used to generate a report for the hiring team. The data is processed securely, only the workspace that created the review can view the report, and you can request deletion at any time by emailing support@alibly.eu. Participation is entirely voluntary.
